EMBRACE THE WORLD - A Valentine's Day Project

“When we stop fighting the world… and instead embrace it… it will embrace us back”

There seems to be a lot of rage in the world today. Sometimes it's justified. Some people really are going through terrible hardships and abuse.

At other times it's less clear that the rage is justified. Especially when it’s coming from the powerful and privileged. People who should be enjoying life—even using their power and privilege to help others. Instead, they're lashing out. And sometimes they threaten all of us!

Maybe they didn't get the love they needed, at critical moments in their lives. Maybe they're trapped in a mode. Often it doesn’t take much to break out of that. Like being reminded how exhausting it is. Or receiving a bit of kindness from someone else.

That’s where we come in.

For Valentine's Day, we're sending greeting cards to those people. You might send one to somebody famous—a world leader or a billionaire, perhaps. Or it might be to someone you know. Or both! We encourage you to send as many cards as you can think of people that could benefit.

We all get back from the world what we put into it. And that means, those people are suffering, too. Let's give them a taste of something different this Valentine's Day: compassion.

Greeting card with text: When we stop fighting the world and instead embrace it... it will embrace us back. This is my Valentine's Day wish for you.
